When the packaged products, for example, coffee release enough gas to cause a three millibars pressure inside the pouch, the wicovalve opens to let the pressure out. After the pressure declines to around 0.5 millibars, the Wipf valve reseals.Such opening and resealing continues until a pressure equilibrium inside the quad seal bags equals that of the outside atmosphere. The good thing about Wipf valves is they do not allow oxygen or moisture to enter your pouches. They are one-way valves.

2.Goglio valves

The Goglio Group are the inventors and manufacturer of Goglio valves. These are the de-gassing valves we can add quad seal bag as one of the add-ons. Golgio de-gassing valves are one-way valves.They are made up of an elastic rubber disc, polyethylene caps, viscous layers made up of silicone oil, polyethylene plate and lastly paper fillers. A Goglio machine is used to assemble these high-performance valves which we place on 4 side bag using machines.Such are perfect add-on valves that will never let you down. They will allow de-gassing to take place until inner- outer pressure equilibrium is attained and lastly bars off moisture and oxygen.

Note: coffee continues to releases some gas after roasting for a period of close to 7 days. With a one-way valve, your coffee quad packaging will not burst open due to excess gas.The one-way valve will allow degassing, but no air will be allowed inside thus keeping your coffee freshness intact.With that, your customer will be able to enjoy fresh, tasty and quality coffee.

4.4 Laser scoring
